CJ McCollum: "James Harden is really good man. Regardless what he does in his free time, He is really fucking good at basketball."
[–][UTA] Donovan Mitchell shavegilette 3024
Harden can come in fat and hungover and drop a 40 point triple double on the best athletes in the world. Weird dude.
[–][UTA] Joe Ingles sciencebased 3
That fat is what helps him cushion in the air to get his shot off and draw fouls. Luka has the same thing going. Compare that to lankier guys at their position. They don't draw fouls as well and try to slither the ball through defenders during drives instead.
[–]Bulls Res-Au-Jus-Ciabatta 1374
I don’t think he’s actually fat. His body reminds me of the dudes you used to see on worlds strongest man. Unironically thick.
nah his fat % is definitely higher than the league average, he’s just athletic enough to make up for it.
you can still be “fat” and agile.
he’s not an out of shape fat, he has a great core and overall strength, he just has more than usual fat on it relative to nba players.
[–][BOS] Pete Maravich Cannabaholic 61
Facts. Probably why he's durable too. I've played against some "chubby" ex-d1 guys who were quick as fuck with great conditioning still, automatic bucket against avg competition, just had some extra cushion. Come to think of it, lateral movement probably suffered the most and they were suspect guarding the perimeter but we're monsters in post and help defense, stripping drivers etc. Kinda like Harden...
[–]Nuggets poohlo 1056
He's definitely not fat and it's mostly due to his body type, buuut the dude could definitely be in better shape LOL
[–]Trail Blazers matrixreloaded 274
Right. He’s the athletic guy that’s big boned. I’d bet, if we were to see him topless we’d take back any comments of him being fat. I’d love to see that, him topless.

Dude's fucking jacked
you don't get the view of the belly though. that'll determine whether he is eating wings or spaghetti, despite where he hangs out
Harden is Jiraiya confirmed.
With KD as Orochimaru, leaving Russ as.. Tsunade..?
He got that 44 in his damn sleep shit looked easy
[–]Thunder moneybooy[S] 986
His efficiency was great as well while having to create his own shot for most of the game
[–]Knicks Quinnett 376
That's kind of how he likes it from what I can tell. He creates his own shots or other people's shots, but one way or another, he wants to be the guy doing it.
[–]Thunder moneybooy[S] 392
A James Harden isolation is an efficient possession. MDA said it as well. He’s so good at what he’s doing, so why even change it?
[–]Tampa Bay Raptors DrunkenMasterII 62
Predictably, that’s why you change it, while it can win you a lot of games you still need to be able to show other teams something else especially in the playoffs.
[–]Raptors Animesucksandsodoi 20
That’s why I hate MDA and thought he was the biggest problem. You need 5 guys to win and how tf is a guy gonna be able to hit a shot you need him to hit when he hasn’t touched the ball in a quarter. Ball movement is crucial and off ball harden would create a lot more efficient shots anyways due to his gravity and passing
Mike Dantoni isn’t an innate anti-ball movement guy, even if that was his approach on the Rockets. His past teams had plenty of ball movement.
Genuinely classy quote from CJ. Love this.
[–]Rockets sorendiz 5
Always like seeing what he has to say, i remember seeing him be one of the first to speak up about covid precautions and make good use of his platform. Class act 100%.
CJ is great he's going to be awesome post-playing career
[–]Trail Blazers Allen_Crabbe 122
Logically I understand that if we trade for Harden we’d lose CJ, and logically I know Harden is better than CJ, but emotionally I’d rather keep CJ as a Blazer for life because he’s so damn likable. I don’t remember a single controversy around him either
[–]Trail Blazers Just-use-your-head 38
I always get way too attached to our roster. Like I almost would rather not win a championship than trade our main guys. Almost
I totally get this. Part of me will always wish we never traded Derozan and kept Lowry and Derozan together until they both retire. But if you ask whether I regret 2019 I think all Raps fans have the same answer
Can’t wait to see how he plays with wall
[–]Raptors TheOnlyOneWhoKnows 273
Man the Rockets looked GREAT in my opinion with Harden and Wood doing there thing. If Wall comes back healthy and Boogie is decent at least they could be a legit squad.
They shouldn't have traded Covington...
[–]Rockets platinumxL 282
We traded Covington and we got Wood and a first back from all the moves first started by that trade. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
[–][TOR] OG Anunoby LovableKyle24 5
Cousins can help if he can actually stay healthy. He's not gonna be sacramento or nola cousins but he will definitely be a positive I imagine.
[–]East matthitsthetrails 157
That’s why you can’t knock players for their off court shit and hold them to the some elevated standard.. if social media existed back in the 80s and 90s ppl would despise some of the all time greats
[–][UTA] Mike Conley Swagsparian 14
You can appreciate Harden’s game while also knocking him for being careless about the NBA Covid policies. I don’t think anyone actually cares about the stop clubs. It’s his disregard for the rules
Im not judging james for partying idc if he does all the coke in north america, just wear a mask, and dont go to clubs during the pandemic
[–]Super8Soul_Advent 793 指標 22小時前
I hope Harden writes a book in the future. Something like Stripped: Twenty Years of Secrets from Inside the Strip Club
“Stripped by James!”
[–]Thunder bleev 590
Harden kind of a clown for being known as the strip club guy. I’m trying to imagine one of my friends being super into strip clubs as a hobby. Like every town they visit they are going straight to the strip club. And they rate how good a town is by its strip clubs.
He is really good at basketball though so it’s totally not that strange considering he’s amazing at basketball.
[–]Lakers sinner02 25
i got a friend whos like that
will go to miami 4 times a year solely because of the stripclubs
I mean I’m pretty sure the vast majority of nba players go to strip clubs pretty often. I mean shit, Lou Williams has wings named after him in one and pg got 1 pregnant. And it’s pretty well known that Kawhi goes as well. The strip club thing just stuck with harden though for some reason.
[–]Rockets gregyo 172
Now I hope people will stop pretending Jaylen Brown and Ben Simmons are even close to Harden's level.
[–]Thunder moneybooy[S] 82
People can hate him as much as they want, but Harden is still in his prime and and a historically great offensive player. Young, Morant, Tatum, all of them are already great players, but what Harden has been doing over the last years is absolutely sensational
